Regional Housing Support Services

Regional Housing Support Services offers housing related services to members of the community of Simcoe County.

Support is offered to community members at risk of homelessness, experiencing homelessness or experiencing rental and/or utilities arrears.

Weekly housing listings are available here. Contact a Housing Associate at housingcalls@empowersimcoe.ca or phone (705)739-0485 for a housing help appointment or assistance to apply for funding programs, including the Low-Income Energy Assistance (LEAP), Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) and the Housing Retention Fund.

The RentSmart Certificate course is a housing education workshop for anyone having a difficult time finding or maintaining their housing. RentSmart can help by giving you the skills and knowledge needed to overcome these challenges.

LLPP is a push to educate and raise awareness throughout Simcoe County about the effects of homelessness and is a call to all private market landlords, property managers and those who operate in the housing market to help our most vulnerable and most at risk.
